This is the text of the oration delivered by Ignatius De-Joannis upon his induction into the College of Liberal Arts. A significant historical document, Ignatii De-johannis ... Oratio Habita ... Ix. Kal. Julii ... Quo Die In Collegium Artium Liberalium ... Cooptatus Est offers insight into the academic and rhetorical practices of the period. It provides valuable source material for scholars interested in the history of education, classical rhetoric, and the intellectual culture of the 18th century. The oration exemplifies the formal style and thematic concerns prevalent in academic addresses of the time, making it a compelling resource for understanding the development of liberal arts education.
