In today's America, the church seems to have lost its footing and its influence. We see our leaders lie, cheat, steal, and desecrate this country. We watch as men and women are sexualized to entertain and advertise. Crime is pervasive in our streets and even our schools. Our country needs God's healing now more than ever, but are Americans justified in expecting God to heal this country based on a promise made to Solomon for Israel thousands of years ago? What is the relevance of II Chronicles 7:14 for us today? Can we extrapolate or transfer that promise to America?
In this commanding workbook, Patsy McSpadden mines the Scripture to nurture a life-changing relationship with God. In simple, direct language accessible to everyone, this interactive workbook includes thoughtful questions, profound analyses, and appropriate places for reflection that will encourage a deeper and more meaningful bond with God and His Word.
Through Patsy McSpadden's touching discussion of God's message to His people, she emphasizes the humility and prayer needed to cultivate an America that walks on His path. To rebuild our country as stronger and more secure, we first need God to heal us according to His Word. But...can we count on God to heal America based on His promise in II Chronicles? Find your own response to this question in this stimulating and challenging guide.
Patsy and her husband, Ralph, live on the family farm in central Texas. They have two children and seven grandchildren.
