Identifying Jesus as the Messiah
For centuries, the Jewish people waited. With scrolls in hand and hope in heart, they looked for the One promised by prophets, glimpsed in shadows, and spoken of in sacred rites. He would be born of a virgin, hailed as a King, betrayed by a friend, pierced without resistance, yet rise in victory. He did not come in the splendor of palaces or the applause of the elite, but in the stillness of a manger, in the obscurity of Galilee, under the gaze of both shepherd and sage. He walked among men, healed the broken, confounded the religious, and fulfilled the very prophecies that had been memorized but not understood.
