Thinking introduces the 5 R's, Research, Rules, Repetition, Reflection, and Rest, a flexible framework for developing ideas with intention rather than waiting for them to arrive.
Doing puts those ideas into practice, covering constraint, consistency, and how to develop a visual signature that makes your work recognisably yours.
Written by Marcus Ahmad, a commercial photographer and educator with three decades of experience shooting for international clients including Wella and Elizabeth Arden, and eight years as Senior Lecturer in Fashion and Advertising Photography at the University of South Wales.
