Prayer is a connection with God, a means of communication through which I make known to God my own requests. In this book, His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef explores the types of prayer and explains how prayer is the source of true peace and joy, especially during trials and tribulations. His Eminence also offers invaluable conditions and directions for prayer. H.E. Metropolitan Youssef was ordained Bishop in 1992 and elevated to Metropolitan in 2022 for the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States. His Eminence has completed a Ph.D. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary University in San Antonio, TX.
