'How God Became Man' presents the nativity story from both a human and a spiritual viewpoint with shocking revelations. The Virgin Mary entered a verbal contract presented by the angel whereby the Holy Ghost would miraculously place the Holy Seed in her and she would give birth to the Son of God. The contract precluded Mary from all biological connections to Jesus and limited her role in the nativity to be only a holy vessel.
The narrative begins with the first man, Adam. He disobeyed God's command and sinned, and his fall from grace necessitated the coming of Christ into the world to save mankind from eternal damnation. Millenniums passed and eventually God manifested himself in the form of a man, in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Judea, Israel, at the time of the Augustus decreed census in 10BCE.
The Bible reveals that God had the birth of Jesus in mind even before he created Adam and Eve. Thereby, the author presents the creation, fall and redemption of man in a new dynamic perspective.
God used the ordained principle of procreation to bring Jesus into the world. Then the author highlights the interaction of the spiritual with the natural arguing against spurious beliefs of the church concerning the Virgin Mary's role in the Incarnation of Christ and uses facts from the scriptures to challenge the status quo of the prevailing narrative.
