Horrendum I

The trembling tone tied to his vocal chords

laughed at the scene it watched him try to say.

She looked up, only long enough, like jackals glancing

from recent kill to evaluate approaching beasts intent to

take food from bloody plate, seeing no real threat, and

turned back inwards towards her happy used to be

smiling meal. The world turning in such a different

manner when the meat is happy for its sacrifice. Every

moment of every day is a sacrifice to the life taking it.

Life inherently selfish. Life inevitably requiring in order

to exist. No existence self contained. It all requires time

and space. So why can't that time and space be happy

for its use? Why can't human flesh be happy in its

privilege to continue this beautiful world, beautiful

existence?
