About the Author
Patrick P. has been sober since 1994. He is an interventionist, a licensed private investigator, a pastor, equine therapy horse trainer, and a certified drug and alcohol counselor. He holds degrees in psychology, criminology, and law-but more importantly, he's a relentless advocate for real recovery.
With decades of experience in crisis intervention, addiction treatment, and behavioral health, Patrick has seen how a lack of a Higher Power makes recovery nearly impossible for the real addict. He doesn't just talk about recovery; he lives it, fights for it, and builds solutions outside the machine.
Through Bunkhouse Heroes, Bunkhouse Behavioral Health, and the Bunkhouse Recovery Ranch, Patrick is creating a faith-rooted recovery community built on one simple, ancient principle: one addict helping another. No spiritual performance. No polished facades. Just honest connection, hard truths, and the grace that comes when people show up for each other with nothing left to prove.
His work blends faith, grit, and deep compassion for the brokenhearted. And his mission is clear:
