Much of this book was written shortly after completing university. I suppose it was partly in response to the difficulties in life which I saw ahead, and partly to clarify my thoughts on important aspects of the Christian faith and to separate them from uncertain and questionable religious practices and beliefs. I hope this book will be useful to readers interested in the foundation of the Christian faith. It is based on the doctrines outlined in Hebrews 6:1-2. Many of the topics are controversial. However, I hope the reader will take time to review them and will use their own judgment. The topics considered include: repentance, salvation by faith, baptisms (both in water, and in the Holy Spirit), the practice of laying on of hands, the resurrection, and eternal judgment.
