Diamond states, Proceed with caution... Flip the pages with open minds and hearts. Read to think and re-read if necessary. This book is thought provoking, jaw- dropping, inspiring, whimsical, spiritual, theatrical. The alluring play on words, transports the reader into the story and allows them to create their own perception and interpretations. This book pulls on the novice book readers, as well as the beginners; with lessons and stories meant to challenge our issues. The words seemingly float off the pages transcending fresh and new thoughts. There will be finger snaps from the poets, proud hearts from parents, and grandparents, and it will invoke hope in Millennials. She explores some callow emotions and strongly promotes self- love. She triggers hope, love, unity and strength; with her innocence of seeing the world through the eyes of a 16year old. She engages society by facing many controversial issues that are often swept under a rug. There is drama and mystery; she talks about being able to persevere, and push past the loss of her 53-year-old grandmother due to uterine cancer. Definitely look for more wonderful things to come from Ms. Diamond Perkins. Thank you all for your support.
