And there are plenty, none of which they ever saw coming. Along the way they meet an assortment of characters that make everyone Dorothy met on the way to Oz pale by comparison. There's Normy the high school kid who sounds like Darth Vader. There's Doctor Sid, TV's greatest dating psychologist. There are The Krunks, fat Mona, and Roger Midburry, the son that Lester the dentist won by losing a hand in a poker game. Hello Lake Wakanubie is funny, heartwarming, and totally unexpected. The humor is insane and the love story between Ozzie and Ali plays out just the way a twisted fairy tale love story should.
