Proceedings of a symposium on haptics on blindness and low vision was held at The Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute on March 29, 2018. The goal of this event was to honor and remember Dr. Val Morash and her research. The symposium focused on aspects of haptics that Val was researching. These aspects included fundamentals of haptic perception and applications to education and assistive technology for people with visual impairments.
