Haneul' is the sky. 'Lok' is to record. At every moment of diasporic consciousness, the sky remained. With every scrambled bilingual ramble, the sky remained. At the verge of collapse of love and fear and excitement and nothingness, the sky remained. With every breath that did not breathe, every step that did not forego, every blink that lingered ten minutes too long, the sky remained. At the end of it all, in that place too far, until the place that is somewhere in between, the sky will remain.
