The Hunter of Fall

Above Lenggries, in snow and steep timber, a poacher and the hunters sworn against him refuse to yield. Pride and hunger sharpen into a feud the village cannot ignore. Forest law, mountain code, and stubborn human will drive Ganghofer's fiercest highland story through winter country around Fall.

The Hunter of Fall (Der Jäger von Fall) is Ludwig Ganghofer at full Alpine force-chase, honor, and the highlands as a living adversary. This edition is a new English translation by Bradley Hall of the German original.

This volume belongs to The Highland Novels of Ludwig Ganghofer, a matched set of new translations.
