The poems in this collection are inspired by the many challenges and struggles many of us face in everyday life. From matters of love, hurt, and hope, we all have experienced a myriad of situations that at times makes one question the reasons why we are faced with such an array of emotional ups and downs. It is the very toll of love, hurt, and hope that makes us aware of just how vulnerable we can be sometimes but, it leaves us the gift of strength and character. From these struggles I have learned that humility is nothing short of an incredible virtue.
