At the age of 39, Teresa Mishler had it all. A great husband, career, and friends. Then on April 30, 2018, she found herself sitting on the bedside of her husband in the hospital room and watching as the nurses pulled him off of life support. However, this book isn't about his death. It's about their life together and her journey after his death. It will chronicle their life, starting from the time they met to the time he died. This was not a normal courtship and not a traditional life. The reader will go through an adventure that is called their life. What makes their life unique? Well, for starters he was from Israel and she was from Florida. That didn't seem to matter because they had so much in common. Their similarities led them to quit the movie and TV industry and start a business together that took them to three continents and five countries. They were mad about each other and would do anything for their relationship. Their similarities also led to a lot of arguments and their marriage wasn't always pretty. Yet to Teresa, Guy was her life. When she found out that he wasn't going to live, it devastated her to her core. She didn't think she was going to make it. On top of that, she lost her mother six weeks prior to her husband's death, and her father had been dead for over a year. In addition to this, her sister-in-law died six months prior. She had no one to turn to. Yet somehow, she made it through. Not only did she survive, but she thrived and discovered herself for the first time. She took the lessons that her husband taught her and turned them into steppingstones to become a badass on her own and rise from the despair and depression that almost took her life. The 150-page book will take the reader through a journey of ups and downs that changed Teresa forever.
