On the last weekend of April 1978, a group of young men from Trenton Central High School walked onto the track at Franklin Field - the iconic University of Pennsylvania stadium, home of the Penn Relays, one of the oldest and most prestigious track meets in the world, drawing competitors from across the nation and internationally for over a century.
