The House of Atreia: A New Tragedy

Midsummer, 1897. In the royal kitchen of a mythic Marseille, Queen Solène prepares to celebrate her fortieth birthday and secure the succession of her daughter, Zora. Then her estranged older sister Atreia returns after ten years, with two sons, an ambitious fiancée, and a grievance that has never stopped feeding.

What begins as a birthday celebration becomes a reckoning with adultery, hidden sons of the dead king, and a disputed inheritance. As servants cut meat, pour wine, and set the table, the struggle for Marseille passes from ceremony to betrayal and violence.

Set inside the House of Marseille, The House of Atreia is a dynastic tragedy about blood, inheritance, and the dangerous stories families tell to make power look lawful.
