Cassidy suffers a haunting: a strange, glowing crack in the wall, and a creature lurking just beyond.

The crack disappears as quickly as it comes, but it's only the beginning of Cassidy's troubles. A terrible smell plagues her dorm room. A mysterious wound appears just below her collar bone. Something stalks her in mirrors.

After being tormented by an entity she can't explain, she meets Nate, charming, studious, and surprisingly understanding. They bond over their shared paranormal experiences, but there's something wrong with him. She just doesn't know what it is yet.

As the days go by, Cassidy's wound worsens. Her flesh rots away, revealing a void beneath.

Meanwhile, the haunting intensifies.

Something wants her, and it won't stop until it has her.
