This work details the Battle of Point Pleasant, also known as the Battle of Kanawha, the only major battle of Lord Dunmore's War, which was fought on October 10th, 1774. The warring parties consisted, primarily, of the Virginia Militia and members of the Shawnee and Mingo American Indian tribes.
