A history of the important points in art and creative literature from an outsider perspective, N. Coppedge (the author) briefly attended Bard in 2001 before developing schizophrenia. Ostensibly, his mission was to be an abstract artist, a quest which diverged afterwards into inventions and philosophy. However, he still kept his love of the art world, belatedly publishing this bizarre and eclectic erudition on the subject beginning in 2024. The edition is perhaps already famous to time-travelers for being 'a book on art... yet published in black and white.' The text consists of vignettes of a page or more which evoke each individual piece of the history of art, including mostly visual arts, music, and literature, with less emphasis on sculpture.
