There are mainly three places - Bastar region, Uttarakhand and Belapani, a village in the Baiga region of Chhattisgarh. All three regions have their own distinct cultural identity. While Bastar is famous for its primitive tribal culture and natural beauty, Uttarakhand is famous for its inaccessible Himalayan environment and religious cultural environment. Belapani Baiga is a new place for most of the readers of life and culture.
The author has tried to reconcile the beliefs, culture associated with these places and at the same time has also drawn attention to the difficulties, problems there. It is also important that in this sequence his vision is not didactic and he looks at them with the sense of 'we'. In this way, this memoir appears to be successful in engaging the reader with itself.
