As one poignant couplet (sher) from the collection says: 'It is solely on this hope that we keep living on, It is not clothes, but relationships we mend here.'( Bas iss umeed pe hum jiye jaat'e hai'nKapde nhi'n yahan rishte siye jaat'e hai'n) Amid the glittering facade of this selfish world, these *ghazals* give voice to the unspoken yearning hidden within every human heart.
