This is not just another coloring book. This coloring book is tailored and illustrated with the ethos of representing experience of people of the Himalayas such as people from Tibet, Lo Monthang, Bhutan and the ones living in the diaspora . My goal is to empower children from Himalayas to create and tell their stories and be proud of their heritage . When I was growing up, there was no representation of anyone who looked like me in books or in the media. I am from Tibet so when I stumbled across a comic called Tintin in Tibet, the mere mention of Tibet, my country, excited me and I finished that comic in one day . I hope my illustrations will bring joy to someone out there too . At the end of the day, before ethnicity and creed, we are all connected by the human experience and the relationships we foster, such as family, sisterhood, brotherhood, friendship, our paw family and food. So this book is for anyone who wants to practice mindfulness and immerse themselves for few moments in the world of imagination.
