Did you know there are seven Marys in the New Testament who have a transforming impact on those who understand the cultural and historical context in which Jesus met them? Women and men today are especially hungry to study and hear that Jesus fully included women in his earthly life and ministry. Many struggle to embrace what they view as a male God because of their brokenness. How does a person who has had difficulties with male authority figures get close to Jesus? This study examines the real context and the implications of Jesus' words and actions as he interacts with the women around him. The seven true stories have the power to heal and transform the broken, wounded, and disenfranchised. Male or female, you will be astonished by the way Jesus interacted and cared for those who needed to find a safe refuge from life experiences or losses.
