Hiawatha's Wedding Feast is a cantata written by the American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in 1898. It tells the story of Hiawatha, a Native American hero, and his wedding to Minnehaha. The cantata is written for a tenor soloist, chorus, and orchestra, and is divided into three parts. The first part describes the preparations for the wedding, including the gathering of food and the building of the wedding feast. The second part tells the story of Hiawatha's courtship of Minnehaha, and the third part is the actual wedding feast.
