When a successful property developer discovers some beautiful lakefront acreage, ripe for an upscale development, he knows he's got a winning proposition. The property has been untouched and unspoiled by the locals, except for that one abandoned house located right on the lake. And that house is not what anyone would expect to find there - more of a mansion than a cabin in the woods, it only needs minor repairs to bring it up to modern standards.- and Paul Hennaman has a plan. He'll bring in his crew to get things started - taking care of the more challenging aspects of the renovation. Then he can move his family in for the summer - to help with the minor details. This'll keep his beloved family with him and save him the daily commute while he undertakes the development of the surrounding 57 acres of this remote location. Brilliant! There's just one problem - this house may choose not to cooperate...It's 1963... Thirty four years after a horrific event occurred that defined this location. And things are about to get weird!
