The study of the Hebrew language is an attractive challenge for serious students of the Bible, or just curious onlookers. Referring to the TORAH, to Hebrew prayer books, and the dictionary still limit the basic skills needed to study this language. There are materials available through different Jewish teachers, but finding an elementary Hebrew book that teaches to write and read Hebrew is a rare jewel.
By creating The Hebrew Alphabet Book 1, Silvia Owley, a trilingual foreign language teacher, is filling the gap where others have overlooked this indispensable base. Through her own research and skills, for over 37 years, she taught Spanish, English and French, using her own methodology, and established a firm foundation for learning these foreign languages. She applied the same basic principles for learning Hebrew. Today she can read and write Hebrew, and also translate Scriptures from Hebrew into English, as well as from French and Spanish Bibles.
