She loves her grandmother who raised her after her mother abandoned her but doesn't believe in all that weird paranormal supernatural stuff, until. When she discovers that her husband has been cheating on her life changes forever. Luckily for her she has a job at an art center that is being refurbished where she teaches. She will have a job as a manager and will be able to live in the apartment upstairs. The only problem is that it used to be a funeral home! The beautiful Victorian house is also housing many secrets along with some very unwelcome ghosts. How will Carrie deal with living with the dead? Will she find romance and a new life with the drop-dead gorgeous man that is remodeling the center? Will she be able to work through her past hurts and memories, and will she change her mind about spirits after living with the dead?
