Healing the Soul: A Journey of Restoration for the Mind, Will, and Emotions
Every wound has a story.
Rejection. Abandonment. Betrayal. Fear. Shame. Grief. Regret.
Many people carry emotional wounds for years without realizing how deeply those wounds affect their relationships, decisions, identity, and ability to experience peace. The pain may be hidden, but its effects are real.
In Healing the Soul, David and Kristi Portillo provide a practical, compassionate, and Christ-centered guide to emotional healing. Through powerful teachings, real-life stories, guided meditations, and healing encounters with Jesus, readers will learn how to revisit painful memories, break agreement with lies, forgive others, forgive themselves, and experience lasting transformation.
Inside this book, you will discover:
- How wounds shape the mind, will, and emotions
- How to recognize and heal rejection, abandonment, shame, fear, grief, and betrayal
- How to invite Jesus into painful memories for healing and restoration
- How to forgive others and release bitterness
- How to forgive yourself and receive God's grace
- How to renew your mind and break destructive thought patterns
- How to walk in freedom, wholeness, and emotional health
This book is more than information-it is an invitation into transformation.
No wound is too deep.
No past is too broken.
No person is beyond healing.
If you are ready to experience greater freedom, peace, and restoration, this journey can begin today.
Jesus still heals the brokenhearted.
Jesus still restores the wounded soul.
And your healing journey starts here.
