Excerpt from book: he accepted a position as tutor in Physics at Harvard. In 1881 he went to New Haven, where he was connected with the Yale Observatory. From 1884 to 1886 he was studying at a German University, and since then has been in Cambridge, where he has been engaged in private scientific work, mainly on electrical subjects. ERNEST YOUNG. For a time he was instructor in History and Roman Law at Harvard, and in 1878 he went abroad for study. Returning in 1880, he resumed his duties at Harvard, where he was made assistant professor of History in 1883 and full professor in 1888. His death, which was occasioned by overwork, occurred March 2,1888. NON-GRADUATES. OLIVER HUBBARD BADGER.
