TENNIS. To the average spectator it is a beautiful, physically intense ballet for the ages. I'm Jimmy Brett, soon to be senior at Hansberry College, one of the premier schools on the East Coast. Number one singles the last three years. The only reason Hansberry wanted me was because I could hit a yellow tennis ball a little harder than anyone else. But all that pales in significance when placed alongside what really happened. I was pursued, then discarded, then pursued again by two beautiful, yet insanely different co-eds from different schools. One may have been guilty of murder, the other certainly capable of it. Since my senior year in high school and up until a few weeks ago, I was linked to four murders and a double suicide. Though most people knew I had nothing to do with any of them, the fact that I knew every victim intimately, made the authorities feel I was hiding something. To this point, no one has a clue who the perpetrator is. Not the Police Chief, not even the grieving families involved. And that makes it all the more frustrating. After a stellar junior season at Hansberry, I was awarded a Wild Card into the US Open. I had to win all three qualifying matches to enter the Big Show. It was a daunting accomplishment but I had a few important people cheering me on. THE FAMILIES OF THE MURDER VICTIMS!!!
