When the village hall burns down just before the fund raising pantomime, Anna Stretton is sent to ask the new owner of Hamelfield House for use of his barn instead. But will Anna appreciate his actions, or will she think he is merely using the pantomime to restart his own career? Can he persuade her how he feels before he loses everything?
