In her memoir, Mel Hoehne, takes us on a whirlwind journey of love, success and betrayal. Growing up in Germany, Mel felt unseen and misunderstood. Her love for fashion and styling started at a very young age but she wouldn't pursue that passion until much later in her life.
Mel's life changed when she met her future husband, who she followed around the world, chasing the next career success. She became a pro at starting over in a new country - building her own career and community. And eventually, her empire.
Having struggled all her life with her body-image and self-worth, when Mel took the plunge to do something that would boost her confidence, she didn't know just how big the subsequent splash would be. And the devastating aftermath that this would leave behind.
Mel's story is a raw and inspiring account of a woman who refuses to ever give up, no matter how far she falls. Fighting inner demons, following her heart, navigating the challenges of marriage, experiencing the highs and lows of motherhood and finding the sheer determination to succeed in business to make it her purpose to uplift, empower and validate women around her. This memoir brings you the captivating story of how a woman from a humble beginning in Germany finds global success in Australia in the midst of the greatest heartbreak and betrayal.
Along the way, Mel found her purpose in life - to empower women through everything she does. She has always felt called to help them grow into their own confident selves and continues to do so through her various business offerings.
