Greenstone Island is a character driven short novel full of action and adventure. I It's about the lives of ordinary people over a period of 15 years. It's an emotional story about family, love, relationships, trust, loss, belief and greed. It's an action adventure book suitable for both adults, young adults and teens. There's Ned who gives up on a successful corporate life to become a fisherman. There's Rosa, Ned's perfect Latino girlfriend...or is she? There's Jack, a drummer, and Maggie who meet at an office party, fall in love, have a family, and settle near the Northern coast of South America. There's the wealthy businessman John Bosman CEO of a gem mining Company. 15 years pass, and a tragic accident occurs, which forces Sam to look for his father Jack. Ned, Sam, and John Bosman's lives cross on the mysterious Greenstone Island where the magic happens, and hidden secrets are revealed. What Amazon reviewers are saying: I found this book to be a hidden gem, usually preferring more pure fantasy, but Greenstone Island is more subtle with a touch of mystery, yet it kept me intrigued, and the author surprised me twice while reading.
We shift to follow a family, which gets into trouble and their only son must travel to Greenstone Island. I found we get to know the characters well and the author ties them all together somehow, like pieces to a puzzle. I'd recommend this book as a good read and something to enjoy and relax with on a cold winters evening. You must read this book! An excellent novel with a gripping, moving storyline...I could not put it down. Such a great book with loads of twist and turns! Really enjoyed! Would recommend. Full of magic and mystery. I didn't want it to end. From the Author: This book is packed with twists and hidden clues. Like one reader said, it's like a puzzle that comes together. You may find it complex to understand, or you may not...the question is...are you up for the challenge?
