In the Garden State of New Jersey, is a street called Manderino Lane. On that street, lives an extraordinary woman who captivates a community with her mysterious relationship with food. Residents are mesmerized by her ability to cure a variety of illnesses with her culinary talents, and idolize her loving compassionate personality. From the common cold to dandruff, to depression and anxiety, Granny Annie's peculiar knack for relieving suffering has catapulted her to local legendary status. Controversy abounds when outsiders of Manderino Lane begin to question weather or not curing the sick with cooking comes from a higher power or something more demonic. When Granny herself is suspiciously found unconscious and becomes gravely ill, it becomes impossible to cook for herself. The neighbors of Manderino Lane who adore the woman, band together trying to find a way for Granny Annie to consume her own food in an effort to save her. This is a story about the accepting of people as they are without judgment, and what it means to be mindful of others. It's about kindness and compassion and being unselfish. A tale of a woman who teaches a community life lessons through modest example in a most delicious way.
