Grammy Lamby's in your heart,
Her love for you will never part.
She lives on through the love she left.
Her time with you was her greatest gift.
Walk alongside little Lamby as he comes to terms with the loss of his beloved Grammy Lamby and discovers the ways that her love is, and always will be, all around him. Grammy Lamby is truly a work of love, written and illustrated from the hearts of two mothers, whose young children lost their own Grammys way too soon.
Created with tiny hands and little grieving hearts in mind, this book walks gently, in a neutral way that is applicable for families of all different beliefs and backgrounds, through the realities of life after loss -- reminding readers of the love that is forever around them after a loved one dies.
Your loved one's spirit is like an ember,
It glows brightly when you remember.
Grammy Lamby includes a special, illustrated frame for readers to tape or paste their very own 4x6 photo of their loved one into the back of the book, as well as a spot to write their most cherished memories.
