A giraffe gives birth to her calf on the wide-open spaces of the African savannah. The calf's grandfather, a little hard of hearing, misunderstands when one of the females comments on her gorgeous eyelashes. And so, 'gorgeous' she became. Another calf was born two days earlier, and the two become fast friends, exploring the savannah and meeting other animals and birds.
