Goom Finds His Happy Place isn't just another cute picture book; it's a tool for teaching kids how to regulate their emotions in a world that doesn't do it for them. This beautifully illustrated story follows Goom, a curious creature who can't fly, can't manifest anything at will, and suddenly has to grapple with sadness and loneliness. Guided by a simple mindfulness practice, he discovers how to feel safe, happy and connected wherever he is.
In this uplifting picture book, young readers follow Goom's emotional adventure as he learns to reconnect with his true self. With the help of a special teacher, Goom discovers a powerful truth: his happy place was never lost, it was within him all along.
Goom Finds His Happy Place teaches children:
- How to cope with difficult feelings like fear, sadness, and overwhelm
- That they are already powerful, whole, and deeply loved
- Simple tools like breathing, visualization, and inner reflection
Perfect for bedtime reading, classroom mindfulness moments, or as part of a social-emotional curriculum, this story is a gentle guide for kids learning how to manage their emotions and trust their inner wisdom.
]♂️ Includes a bonus guided meditation via QR code to help children find their own happy place just like Goom.
