The hardships incurred by the people of Ireland over the centuries have been well documented. By utilizing true facts in history, combined with humor, Irish traditions, and folklore, author Maureen Higgins has masterfully crafted the art of storytelling into a passionate, deeply moving experience. This book will be shared as a classic fof generations to come.In a sleepy little town in County Tipperary, Ireland, Micky Flynn had a dream that he would find a fortune in gold at the rainbow's end. For twenty years he prospected the hills and dales of Ireland in search of the fullfillment of his golden dream. Everyone doubted him. He was the joke of the village. Never giving up hope, he persevered, year after year, over mountain and moore, with is his faithful donkey along to keep him company. His friends laughed at him and his wife threatened to leave him if he didn't give up on his dream. Then one day, when he lest expected it, his life would change forever. Micky Flynn didn't find his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. He found something far more valuable in the fullfillment of his dreams.
