Gnostic and Historic Christianity is a book written by Gerald Massey that explores the differences between Gnostic Christianity and Historic Christianity. The author argues that Gnostic Christianity is the original form of Christianity and that it was suppressed by the Roman Catholic Church in favor of the more institutionalized form of Christianity that we know today. Massey examines the teachings of Gnostic Christianity and compares them to those of Historic Christianity, highlighting the similarities and differences between the two. He also discusses the role of the Gnostic texts, such as the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary, in understanding the origins of Christianity. The book is a fascinating exploration of the early history of Christianity and the different interpretations of its teachings. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of religion and the origins of Christianity.THIS 42 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: Gerald Massey's Lectures, by Gerald Massey.
