Glow Anyway

Glow Anyway

Raven McNeil is a rising author who found her passion for writing through honesty, vulnerability, and truth-telling. With Glow Anyway, she steps into poetry-her most intimate form of expression yet. Inspired by the legendary Maya Angelou, Raven brings a modern voice that is unapologetically Black, feminine, and unfiltered.

Glow Anyway isn't just a book of poems-it's a vibe, a mood, and a whole attitude. These poems get loud when they need to, soft when it matters, and messy in the middle-because that's real life. They honor joy, heartbreak, confidence, contradictions, and every flaw you thought you had to hide. It's bold. It's unfiltered. It's vulnerable in places, cocky in others, and it refuses to apologize for either.

Think of it like scrolling through your feed and stumbling on a post that makes you stop, double-tap, and say yeah, that's me. These pages talk back, clap back, and remind you that your glow isn't about being perfect-it's about owning every layer of who you are.

This isn't poetry you study; it's poetry you feel in your chest. For the ones who are too much and not enough all at the same time. For the ones still healing, still hustling, still shining through the mess. Glow Anyway is your reminder that the light doesn't dim, even when life gets heavy.
