Obviously he would not reach his destiny as long as he stayed on the fence, brooding over his lot and mourning the outcome of choices he had made. Neither could he make any progress by holding on to the what if's and why me's. This book is an invitation to look closely at the situations that occur in our life which cause us to sit on the fence, refusing to budge in our thinking and concepts of God. Identifying with biblical characters who've struggled with this same issue, we can then reflect on ways that we do at times to resist the move of God. Hopefully this will lead us to choose to move on toward our destination as we learn to wholly trust God.
