How can a region with 7 universities and a 92% literacy rate boast the highest unemployment rate in the world, 43% unemployment with 60% youth unemployment? The constantly re-started, constantly abandoned negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis have not resulted in a solution, nor will they even with Europe's and the UN's determination to, again, get the opposing parties back to the negotiating table because the basic premise of a Palestinian State in the current Gaza and the West Bank is unworkable and solves neither the Palestinians' needs nor the Israel's.
Gaza in the Sinai: The Only Viable Two-State Solution sets out a new and different plan which will give the Palestinians a flourishing homeland with sound financial footing in a solid middle-class society; create a wonderful home with full employment for the millions of Palestinian refugees kept for close to three-quarters of a century in desolate refugee camps in neighboring Arab countries which have not allowed the refugees to integrate into their societies; put economically distressed Egypt, also, on a sound financial basis; alleviate the UN's (mostly the US taxpayer's) financial burden of supporting the Palestinians and, without this solution and Egypt's declining economic condition, also will be supporting Egypt's 90 million; and giving Israel the only thing she has ever sought: peace.
