Before passing, The monkey asks Tamara to retrieve a magic glowing flower that blooms near his cabin. Tamara finds the flower and brings it to him. After eating the flower, the monkey dies, but to their astonishment, the flower's magic releases the monkey's spirit as a translucent being. Now, as a spirit, the monkey continues to accompany and guide Tamara and Vanko on their quest. His knowledge of the mountain and its secrets proves invaluable.
