The first rays of the sun fall on a girl's face, and someone paints a wonderful picture of the same girl on a canvas. Just that dream... just that and I woke up. Gradually that early morning dream faded away and realization started to grow inside me. All those longings sometimes got fulfilled and this story happened accordingly.
As for the peak, I met a lieutenant during my Sarpas trek. His personality, eloquence, love of painting all this touched me unconsciously. When thinking of a male character with Pratti, I could not imagine anyone but Lt. Shekhar and one name came to mind and stuck, Shikhar Prapti.
As I started thinking more about Shikhar Prapti, Sameer, Dwija, Saruman, Hukm Singh, all started beating around me. He became a part of my story by coming and talking to me every night. All these characters I have always seen somewhere, known, maybe even longed for something from them, and now, through pen, I have been able to live in them, so I consider myself really lucky. This story, written every day at night, has been constantly shining on the paper and on my inner writer.
