THE GREAT COMMISSION
The Great Commission is not an appendix to Matthew. It is the destination. Everything in the Gospel, the birth narratives, the Sermon on the Mount, the miracles, the parables, the confrontations with the Pharisees, the Passion narrative, the resurrection, all of it has been pointing here. The risen Christ stands on a mountain in Galilee, and He gives the church its marching orders for the rest of human history.

It is a charge given by the highest authority in the universe to every person who calls themselves a follower of Jesus. And understanding it well is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
