The Groove Train is a supernatural train that was sent by the great commissioner and programmed to go beyond the call of duty. Its mission is to help rescue youth and students through positive intervention. It's equipped with miraculous gadgets designed to effectively assist the conductor to fulfil the missions and problems that distract youth from reaching their full potential and steering them on the right track. The targeted issues include juvenile delinquency, poor school performance, low self-esteem, gang prevention, anger/violence, and drug use prevention that have filtered into schools around the world. The purpose of this book is to motivate, educate, and challenge students to dream big and value the experience of learning as a student and to know that their lives matter. It will reinforce the importance of moral values and conflict resolution. It will teach students how to conduct themselves with character to become productive citizens. Anthony Dixon was born and raised in Fresno, California. His involvement in several extracurricular activities, including sports, singing, and dancing, were all instrumental in developing his self-esteem. He graduated from Edison High School and Fresno State University with a BA in Social Work and was honorably discharged after serving eight years of military service in the United States National Army Air Force Guard. He currently works as a Deputy Probation Officer. His biggest passion and gift is singing and writing songs that motivate, uplift, and edify listeners in the midst of their struggles, trials, and difficult moments. The Groove Train empowers our youth to face the challenges of today recognizing their resilience and need for healing. The stories depict every day, down-to-earth examples of struggles our young people experience on a regular basis.
