Gramma Moon and the Sleepy Star
A Gramma Moon Story
What if a little star was afraid to go to sleep?
Far away, under the same moonlit sky, Elly snuggles into bed with her beloved bunny, Moonie, and thinks about Gramma Moon. As she gazes out her window, she notices a tiny star that looks worried.
The little star is afraid that if it stops shining, it might never shine again.
With kindness, patience, and wisdom passed down from Gramma Moon, Elly helps the sleepy star discover an important truth: everyone needs rest. Even stars.
As the star learns that sleep helps us grow stronger and brighter, Elly is reminded of something Gramma Moon always says: love is with us, even when we're far apart.
Inspired by a cherished story created by author Jana Lee White's father, Gramma Moon and the Sleepy Star is a heartwarming bedtime tale that celebrates the special bond between grandparents and grandchildren, especially those separated by distance.
Perfect for families who miss one another across the miles, this gentle story offers comfort, reassurance, and a loving reminder that:
Love can travel through moonlight.
Through memories.
Through bedtime wishes.
And just like the stars above, the love between grandparents and grandchildren never stops shining.
Perfect for:
Grandparents and grandchildren living far apart
Bedtime reading and snuggle time
Children ages 3-8
Military, traveling, and long-distance families
Teaching children the importance of rest, love, and connection
