The Gospel of Saint John: In West-Saxon (1904) is a book that features the Gospel of Saint John translated into the West-Saxon dialect of Old English. The text is presented in the original Old English script, making it a valuable resource for scholars and students of Old English language and literature. The book includes an introduction that provides historical and linguistic context for the West-Saxon dialect, as well as notes on the translation and the text itself. The Gospel of Saint John is one of the four canonical Gospels in the New Testament, and this translation offers a unique perspective on the text in a language that was spoken over a thousand years ago. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
